Hello folks! The tutorial on tree-making is finaly published in the Scenery section.  I believe I´ve managed to develop a very nice technique...the effect is really amazing. Remember to view the material list to know what materials I´ve used to make the trees. Most of them are in the bottom of the page. Enjoy!

I´m presenting here new additions to my collection, two Seat Leon: one from WTC - Red Bull livery and one from BTCC yellow and silver both from Scalextric (cars). And very soon I wish to buy a Ferrari from Carrera. Stay tuned and wait for more pictures and much more hints this year.

Barkshire modelland suffered modifications and updates as you can see. Icluding a new menu bar. I hope I can be able to keep updating the site more frequently and adding new information. There are some news to come shortly as a reviews on a Laptimer and new cars. And of course explained details on the construction of the rally track. Im also making clearer explanations on model building from now on. You can also find new reviews on the two Seat Leon from Scalextric in Cars.

I have just purchased a new lap timer and counter track mecanism for my new rally track. The package contains a track for the detection of the cars passing over the start/finish line. This track is connected by a serial cable in a computer that I´ve just assembled for this purpose. Then I downloaded Lap timer 2000 software to run in this new system.
Keep sharp for a full review on this software and system, very soon on a new section of my website.
>>Soon: THE NEW LAYOUT OF MY TRACK, Power and installation sections
June 16, 2007
I´m presenting the first sketch of my track recently reproduced on the computer. I came up with this layout after a long time of planning and thinking. I had to consider many obstacles such as space limitations, marshalling spots and scenery. I decided to make it a hybrid track, putting together some few pieces of scalextric tracks with routed MDF track sheets. As time progresses I´ll explain better how it should be. In the meantime note this layout represents a gradation scale of highness: white means it is the lowest way, black the highest. I think it´s very interesting to have ups and downs in a rally track.
Stay sharp!

Hello, folks!
I´m presenting now the next building that I´ll make. It is a famous timber framed house in the banks of the river Stour in Canterbury, England known as the Old weavers inn. I won´t make a perfect replica. Instead, I wish to pick up some ideas from many houses and build a new building this time. But it should be very similar to the Weavers inn. I hope you keep visiting my website very often!

New Tutorial: Dirt track
Hello folks! I´m glad to publish here my newest tutorial that will describe how have I made a dirt and snow covered track surface. It can be checked at "all about scenery" section or by
clicking here. Good modelling!

Special thanks to Luis Vega  and Glen for supporting this project!

> I decided to change the name of the website from Barkshire Model land Project to Model-Land Rally Project. I found it was important to name it "rally" since it will be a rally track. And I kept "model land" since there will be a mini village and woods in the middle of the circuit where the cars will travel. (A miniature land)

It´s been a long time since I last updated my website. I´ve been making some nice progress these past weeks and I finally gathered a bunch of pictures and news ready to be published. I worked mostly on the rocks, on the bridge and on some electronic features I have also developed a start lights system, fuel controll using LDRs. And, of course, as it can be seen the track is already functional with the copper tape layed.

-The Tudor House has been completed with the chimney and the roof. The area around it was decorated with pavements, trees, signs, lamps and grass.
-I bought a new camera while my nikon is under repairs. Photos may be a little blurry now. But it won´t be long until my main camera is fixed.
